Athens and Limestone County have had their fair share of successes over the years in terms of industrial and retail recruitment, but 2015 could certainly be considered a banner year.
The Jan. 9 announcement that Polaris would build a $142 million manufacturing facility on Greenbrier Road was The News Courier’s top story of the year, as determined by our editorial staff. The Medina, Minnesota-based manufacturer of off-road sport vehicles is currently hiring for the local plant, which is set to start up in the spring.
