During his first state of the county address Thursday, Limestone County Commission Chairman Mark Yarbrough spent nearly as much time thanking and acknowledging officials in attendance as he did discussing what’s happening with the county he oversees.
His acknowledgement of those officials, however, proved to be the common thread that ran through his presentation — regional partnership. In discussing the $400 million in industrial projects announced over the past 15 months of his administration, Yarbrough acknowledged none of them would have happened without partnership with officials in neighboring cities and counties.
