Effective September 1, 2023, the requirements and procedure to be appointed and commissioned as an Alabama Notary Public changed, pursuant to Alabama Act 2023-548.
To be appointed and commissioned as an Alabama Notary Public in Limestone County an applicant must be a resident of Limestone County and complete all necessary requirements under the new law.
